HOW TO INSTALL .MDF/MDS FILES TO RUN A GAME
so i have a game i would like to install however i don't know how to install .mdf/mds files on linux as they are not native to linux so i was trying to find a fix for this but it seems that i could not, i run a 64 bit mint machine, so i came here hoping to get some personalized help

What game is it? If you're successful in your install, knowing the game would be helpful to others later.

Install 'FuriousIsoMount' from synaptic/software manager. I've used this to install a few games in wine which come as mdf install files. Works great. 
All you do is mount the mdf in furious (or furius, can't remember how it's spelt), and it will have the mounted mdf in your /home/user folder, open, right click exe and open with wine as usual.
