How to run League of Legends

Hello,

I've installed League of Legends and downloaded all of the available content and updates using Windows 8.
Now I'd like to know how to start the launcher and play the game under Mint 18.1 Cinnamon?
I tried starting it with Wine but the only thing that happens is that the logo pop up and that's all, the game doesn't want to start.

Thank you for your reply.
I've already tried this method but I get this error message (http://imgur.com/a/70tX8) after trying to install the game through PlayOnLinux.
