I'm having issues to install a game.
I downloaded the linux version of DIRT Showdown but when I want to run it is giving message:
ERROR - eON failed to launch!
I gave the privileges to read and write before.
I'm new to Linux Mint can somebody provide the solution?

There are reports of the same issue for other Windows games that are ported to Linux by using Virtual Programming's eON solution: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/virtual-pro ... ssue/25114. The developers that ported it to Linux appear to have disappeared https://github.com/virtual-programming/ ... own-linux/. But then DIRT Showndown is no longer for sale as the game's developer Codemasters didn't renew its licenses to use certain car models and as such can no longer sell the game. I think you're going to have a though time finding support from the game or port developers
