Does installing libraries affect former settings?
I recently compiled a new fps game. In the readme the dependencies were listed and i installed them. Question now is: Do newly installed graphics libraries and so on affect the former settings or performance of earlier installed games (which used the "old packages") in any way? And if yes how can I switch to the best possible settings then?

Re: Does installing libraries affect former settings?
Affecting settings depends entirely on the application you installed the libraries for, and of course, the libraries themselves.
