[solved] Secret Maryo Chronicles question

The kids (wink-winkl) are having problems with this game. Everything is fine until it gets to level 14(?) "world_2". I've read other reviews, bug reports, etc. that indicate the game does go further than this, worlds 3, 4, etc. Nothing seems to allow the little guy to enter this last(?) level though. Am I missing something, or am I MISSING something as in 'new level files' or something? Or is this possibly a bug in the particular machine maybe? Thanks in advance to any platform gamers out there.

Maybe what you're missing is that the devs of Secret Maryo have abandoned the game, and moved to create Secret Chronicles of Dr. M - it's basically a refactor of the same game.

Now that's a possibility I had not considered. Has anyone here played PAST world_2? If not, you're likely correct. The kids enjoyed playing what was there though, so I'll try to get the newest 'chapter' installed for them now. Thanks!

Has ANYone here played this game? Is there life after level 14? IS there actually a world_2 and 3 and 4? Stay tuned to find out! Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel!

I haven't even the time to pass the first 4 levels... let alone take a look at world 2. I only remember beating the first boss, but that was Secret Maryo. I no longer have the skills to get there.

I figured out what the problem was, more or less. The original problem was this Optiplex machine. But...when I ran the game on my laptop with mint, it had errors as well, i.e. the character would move a few inches, then freeze, then move again. (this made jumping rather difficult.) However, I got the windows version, and am playing it on win7 and it went right to the next level just fine. I suppose I can mark this as "solved"?
