How can I install OpenRCT2 with the Steam version of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2?

Post by borg101 » Sat Jan 06, 2018 4:58 pm

Does anyone know how I can install OpenRCT2 and use my copy from Steam? I've tried Lutris, where I'm getting an apparently common error. I tried PlayOnLinux....which only supports the GOG version for some reason. And the "guides", if you could call them that, available are incredibly convoluted. No two have the same instruction set. I have been trying to get this to work on and off for a few weeks now and I can't even get OpenRCT2 installed, let alone find a way to get the files from Steam. Any help?

Why is it that Raru is the only site I can find that sells local Steam cards. Is there no stores that sell them too?
