I'm running Unigine Superposition 1.0 on 1080p extreme pre-set (so that I could compare it to other benchmarks online), here are my results to anyone it may interest:

If you want other benchmarks, I can run them as well.

Ubuntu 17.10 (4.13 kernel, nvidia 390 drivers) bare metal - gets 4788 score.

Mint 18.3 (4.13 kernel nvidia 390 drivers) run with qemu+kvm with pci-passthrough - gets 4963

Win10 (nvidia 397) run with qemu+kvm with pci-passthrough - gets 5698 (using DirectX) 4970 (using openGL)

Using Cinnamon in Ubuntu instead of Gnome, I get 4966 - which is exactly the same as the mint VM. - seems like Gnome has more adverse effects than running in VM!

System is core i7 7700k (stock speed), 1080ti (stock speed).

Seems like there's almost no performance hit from using machines in vm with pci-passthrough... I was doing this test because I was getting around 40 fps in The Witcher 3 on ultra settings 1440p, and I didn't know if that's up to par.
