Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion - low frame rate

Post by lepaincestbon » Fri Sep 28, 2018 5:05 pm

Good evening,

I've installed Oblivion on steam. I've freshly installed Linux Mint 19. I play through steamplay Proton with steam beta. I've reinstalled all the driver recommended by the OS and the Git of steam play. I've tested it on other linux mint computer. I've a maximum frame rate of 15fps. It's awful, I can't play. I've seen videos on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_2gmU5HEhY) where we see somebody playing on proton with a really good frame rate.

My config:
-Intel i5 3GHz
-Nvidia GTX 970 4GB
-8GB RAM
-Linux Mint 19

Recommended config:
OS: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows XP 64-Bit
Processor: 2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent
Memory: 512 MB
Graphics: 128 MB Direct3D compatible video card and DirectX 9.0 compatible driver
DirectX®: DirectX 9.0c
Hard Drive: 4.6 GB
Sound: DirectX 8.1 compatible

Thanks in advance.
