So Empty Epsilon... how do I describe it.
Empty Epsilon is a sci-fi space-based command simulator. It also comes under the category of bridge simulators. Unlike most sims, it's aimed at the casual market and designed particularly for gaming with friends in a LAN-party type situation. You can play different roles aboard a ship and must work with each other to beat opponents, solve tasks and other scenarios.
It works even on low end machines and there are build instructions for Debian, it can even be found in the aur repository for Arch...but no deb package itself. Of course if you want complete ease of use you *could* run it through wine, but the build instructions are pretty simple.
This youtube video gives a pretty thorough overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkoxwGSCjII
Or you can just plug and play it's a small program no more than 300MB or so.
What it really needs is for some soul to take pity and build a linux mint package out it .
.... and, I'm looking for people to game with... so if you're interested, send a PM my way or you can join us on Discord: https://discord.gg/buRcFfm
