hi guys, wanted to get star trek online working on mint 17.3 using steam linux with steam play.
i download the sto launcher through steam linux but as i had a copy of the steam common folder from my windows PC on here i thought i would just take the STO folder from it.
now the launcher works fine but nothing happens after i press the engage so wondering what could i be missing?

ProtonDB shows very mixed results for running STO on Proton (the software behind SteamPlay): https://www.protondb.com/app/9900
Re: what am i missing?
yeah looking at the link looks like some people had a similar issue.
might just do a freash install of steam as when i look at software manager it says it is not installed
