CS.GO / World of Warcraft

Post by linuxforbeginners »

Hello.
They all won't work.
I've tried using a different GPU driver instead of xerver-xorg-video-nouveau, the nvidia-driver (455, 390,450) if I try to use the three different drivers, I see only a part of the desktop, the resolution is very low and everything is very big.

CS GO starts on very low quality and very low resolution but then it just crashes after playing for a minute or two.
WoW won't start at all. Lutris, dependencies, wine..

All games lag.

I need help.

After installing the nvidia-driver did you restart your PC?

For the record, I play WoW on Lutris with setting 7 (recommended default for my machine), DX12 & nvidia 455 driver and get a steady 100fps with my RTX 2070 (FPS may go higher, but it's capped by default at 100).

Using Lutris-6.0-rc1 Wine version.
Gaming exclusively on Linux since 2017. Windows can suck it!
