** SOLVED!! **Warcraft III Original 2 disc retail Battle Chest game set through Wine?

Post by motoryzen »

-- Has anyone been able to get Warcraft III Battle Chest set working in Linux? I did many years ago, but I don't know if a dadgum setting in newer versions of Wine changed something or what.

This is the absolute last game I have yet to get working in Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon and currently the only reason I boot into windows other than just trying out similar cross platform software to test and compare. --

How...the #$%%$^T froint laven TOOT...did I miss this??!!

And of all the things it would be...the stupid Movies folder needing to be renamed so they don't auto launch and Wine has a problem with them? (scratches head). Ok..so worst case I must manually navigate to those movies and play them via any compatible video player. COOL. I can deal! lol.

Thaaaaaaank You!! Giggidee!! --

As of right now..I have absolutely NO further use for Windows except for software performance comparison testing. Cheers good man!
