Just got the new LMDE MATE/Cin. 32Bit DVD.
Disc-check for errors ok.
ACER Travelmate 6293 laptop, 4GB Ram
No problems running the live-DVD of the RC-version from March.

At booting from DVD, screen freezes about 1-2 seconds after showing the login screen on both boot modes.
The same happens with and without USB keyboard and mouse.

No clue anymore what to do, especially as the RC version of LMDE 2012 booted without any problems (as did several versions of MINT before).

Well, nowbody seems to know any solution...
I tried to boot using the new xfce DVD - the desktop appeared, and after 2-5 seconds again the same result: FREEZE....

(The DVDs are ok, they work fine on another - newer - ACER laptop)

hmmm, too bad.
It looks like I have to choose maybe SolusOS, no problems there...
