This is my first time using Linux and I have installed Linux Mint Debian [AMD 64 Bit Edition] onto my machine, with a Dual-Boot with Windows 7. I have completed the installation and dual-boot setup without a problem.
Now that I am in Linux Mint, I have two main issues that I can't work out how to resolve. They are:
1. I have dual monitors, but only the Primary monitor will display.
2. I have a Raid 5 array on the machine, and it is not recognised.
Details of my machine are as follows:
From the above, disks 3, 4 & 5 are in a Raid 5 array controlled by the motherboard.System: Host Testing Kernel 3.2.0-2-amd64 x86_64 (64 bit) Distro Linux Mint Debian Edition

Can someone please give me some guidance on how to bring up the dual screens, and to be able to access the RAID 5 disk array.
