Hi guys.

I just want to know if are you going to release the Linux Mint Debian ISOs updated with UP6? And are yoy going to release separated isos for MATE and Cinnamon?

Im waiting for the only MATE de ISO updated.

Will LMDE get new ISO images with Update Pack 6?

Yes, we’re planning to release LMDE Update Pack 6 for the following editions in January 2013:

Cinnamon
MATE

any info about the release date? its almost the end of january and my hd claims for lmde again... but ill only install it with the updated isos..

I'm really getting worried about this, since Clem hasn't wrote anything on this forum for a long time. There were also no monthly stats on January. At last, there is less than week to end of the month, and there is still no testing image.
Hopefully, we will get the new ISO soon.

Herostrates, your quest for fame is admirable.
However it would be prudent not to annoy the gods.
Burn a few copies of Win7 in sacrifice, to appease those who re-spin and maybe they will look favourably upon you.

I'm also curious about this. I know the team must be busy but, does it really take this long to make an iso?
I've been checking every day this month for this iso.

The new LMDE ISOs are almost ready and they should enter QA sometime this week. As previously announced, LMDE will come in two separate editions for MATE and Cinnamon.

i would say that they will enter testing in the next days but would be made available to download in fev.

too bad. the delay is killing me but anyway... im waiting for the new isos.. its nice to see that the isos are going to be released soon.

Yes please when will you release the isos? it is a pain having to install nearly YEAR old distro (april 2012) and update...

There you see when they are testing the iso's and when they are approved for RC and Final release.


Second, If you just kept LMDE installed and kept it up to date up to now you wouldn't have to complain about installing from a nearly Year old (distro) ISO. Unless you messed up your system or you want to install LMDE on someone elses computer, that of course is another story.

And if you are a distrohopper who loves to try out other distro's then there's always the dual or multi boot way to go.
