Hi all,
I'm using LMDE with MDM (1.0.8+lmde) and Mate. My MDM login menu is configured to simple (no themes) with faces. I have just added an user (guest) and it just does not appear in the MDM login menu. I added the user with both adduser and useradd, disabling home directory creation (--no-create-home) and shell (--shell /bin/false). I also tried adding the user manually in MDM login window settings (Main menu -> System -> Admin -> Login window -> Users), and even restarting the whole computer (yes, I know Linux != Windows ). But no way, the user list never changes, and the new user is never there. I even double checked my /etc/passwd to make sure the user was correctly added (and it was).
How can I make my new user appear?
Best regards,
Emerson

Re: Not all users are shown in MDM login menu
I have sam problem with MATE 1.6 and new MDM.
I define in Login Window to show only my user, but when i logout or restart there is no my username on list and must type username.
Is there any bug fix for that?
