Gnome Menu Editor Missing

I noticed after I installed Gnome Shell in LMDE Cinnamon that the "Menu Editor" is missing. I found out when I installed Google Chrome, it didn't show up in the menu and I tried to find Menu Editor. :-)

I used Cinnamon Menu Editor and it seemed to work OK but I was curious if that is what should be used or if there is a better way?

IIRC, Gnome's menu editor is called Alacarte and has to be installed separately. I don't see anything wrong in using Cinnamon's menu editor though :)

:) No, Cinnamon's menu editor seemed to work fine! I'm still trying to get used to the new Mint LMDE (Cinnamon based). I was very leary of it since I've been running it so long pointing to Testing and Sid with Gnome 3 only, but it's not "too" bad. I have been doing my "installs" with the "original" LMDE disk (the very first release) and then going through all of the updates until this past month when I finally decided to bite the bullet and see how the new version does for me! ;-) I would install from the old CD, point it to SID or Testing and let 'er rip! That was always good for a few thousand updates. LOL

Thanks again for the help, while I come to grips with this new version (or at least new to me, since I know it's been around about a year or maybe a little more now on this Mate and Cinnamon kick).
