27Feb2014 patches broke my distro. Login doesn't respond to keyboard or mouse.

Hardware: Dell xps notebook, old i5 cpu

Is there question in here? Split your topic form http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 3&t=160357 and moved here. I don't see how the new ISO could have broken your distro; the new ISO doesn't affect existing LMDE installations in any way.

what kind of patch is it? I didn't recall any upgrade on that date
