Firefox killed the music

Has anyone other then me had problems with sound after updating FireFox? It also might have been the last flash support Mint sent out. Anyway,some thing has killed my sound,and I don't know get it going again. Grrr, And they promised it was stable. :( Help me bring back the music plzz

Versions of OS/desktop are ?
FF version is ?
Flash version is ?

Have you tried unmuting the audio, or anything else?
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!
Your data and OS are backed up....right?

i have encountered this too..
videos in chromium (youtube etc.) often do not play.. and have no sound.
firefox will play visuals in the video to some extent, with no sound and then a crash.

chromium (Version 35.0.1916.114 Built on Debian 7.1, running on Debian jessie/sid (270117))
firefox 30

pulseaudio has from time to time been using most of the 4 cores of the CPU and also one of the mate processes (i think it is mate-settings-daemon) does similar.

so far, i have no solution. i just reboot and sometimes the audio returns.
