unknown problem on libreoffice --calc and gnumeric alike

Post by evanescente_ondine » Thu Aug 21, 2014 6:45 pm

The problem is, that I can't trace any diagram.
It's right that I am not used to theses programs ... but there's a limit to how much you can err
on a program which is meant to be used the same as on windows.
Basically, I have two rows, on that grows more or less linearily between 0 to 20 or 47
then another which represents the pH, that grows decreases between 6.6 and around 3.5.
No functions involved, no linear regressions, I just need a diagrams with cut lines showing the second data row as y-axis and the first as the x-axis.
I just can't ! I'll do it with gnuplot, yet I would like to know if somebody already had a problem alike to mine.
Anything like a very strange but persistent problem with libreoffice.

Select the data range, start the Chart wizard, select Scatter (XY), click Next. On the second page of the wizard, select the radio button for "Data series in rows".
