Gnu Privacy Guard (GPG) vers. 2.0 update?

can we install GPG Vers. 2.0 into our LMDE systems?
if so how do we go about it?
or if it is going to be standard in the up-comming LMDE/MINT LTS system then I think I'll wait and get the whole package;

Package is called gnupg2 in Debian testing, so I guess that would be also the package available in LMDE.

yep: I found it..... reading the man page for "gpg". all i have to do is use "gpg2" rather than "gpg". which means the ENIGMAIL people should have access to GPG2 although they might need to provide an option in preferences. I might mention this, next time I'm chatting on their list.
