So immediately after the LMDE liveUSB proceeds past the Grub menu it will go to a black screen. Then the screen well turn off, then back on but still with a black screen. It will so this over and over and doesn't seem to boot.
This happens with both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of LMDE 201403.
I have an Acer Aspire E1-150[-2500] with a SPCC 120Gb SSD.
I'd like to troubleshoot this myself and I realize it probably has something to do with the video driver not initializing but I have no idea where to start. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: Black screen after Grub menu on liveUSB
Hi,
May I ask you if you found a solution to this yet ? I'm having the exact same issue on an Acer V11 Touch. It's just a black screen, no error what so ever. So I wouldn't even know where to start searching.
Thanks a lot
Michael
