Help me install Quanta + ?
I really, really miss Quanta+ I'm familiar with it, and it has the only editor with a preview window I like. A split screen, refresh-to-view preview, rather than a save/export "preview".
But I am just hitting a brick wall trying to install it in LMDE.
Can anyone help walk me through this?
I can show you what I've been trying (and failing) to follow...
http://packages.debian.org/sid/quanta
not sure what to do here. Looks like most of these came along with KDevelop, but I haven't gotten far enough to know if I'm missing anything.
http://packages.debian.org/sid/m68k/quanta/download
I'm not sure what to do with that line. I added
deb http://www.gtlib.gatech.edu/pub/gnuab/debian sid main
no go.
And
deb http://www.gtlib.gatech.edu/pub/gnuab/debian sid main
no go.
I'm not used to manually adding to "/etc/apt/sources.list" so I may be making a simple mistake here.
I downloaded the deb
http://www.gtlib.gatech.edu/pub/gnuab/d ... 3_m68k.deb
but only get the message
Error: Wrong architecture 'm68k'
Please help?
I'm trying out other editors, but they are all just reminding me of why I loved Quanta so much.

Re: Help me install Quanta+ ?
FWIW, for simple stuff I'm using Seamonkey - it has code and preview and an ftp uploader, all that's needed to make a few changes. Nothing like Quanta's power, of course, but then I don't have to load the system with all that KDE stuff.
