There is a Deb file and it is confirmed running on 64bit here. How very generous of them.

That sounds almost too good to be true xircon. 5x the space of anyone else for free?? There has to be a catch. (the obvious one is who in hell are they and have you read a privacy policy?). Good find though.

It seems to be pretty legit, only sharing what you want to share (although sharing is the predominate aspect of the service, you can pick and choose whom you share with). Plus, doesn't even involve an email address to sign up.

It should be pointed out that there is NO local storage or folder as with dropbox. It is entirely via the website, and from another terminal you can download as you see fit. In that sense, its more space efficient, but less immediately usable than dropbox. Therefore, more of a backup tool ... but who doesn't rsync to their home server nowadays?

Yes, we're working on updating all the tools in the next few weeks.

We are not about Syncing but more sharing and interacting and publishing your files, photos, etc...

Thanks. We contacted them and they said it will be "Whitelisted" , we are a free file sharing site and some users do host possibly malicious files, but we remove right away on request if they are indeed harmful. Please contact bitdefender for us as well if you can

...but everybody should notice the thread's been resurrected from a year ago.

It looks to me like Minus has made a pivot from cloud storage to social photos in the meantime.
