Hi all
I used to run Ubuntu which has a later version of Transmission, have upgraded to Mint Debian and now my TorrentFu for Android doesn't work. I'm thinking it's a version thing, is there a way to upgrade to the latest version of transmission. According to aptitude I have it installed already, just an older version.

The current version of transmission in testing is 2.03-2.2. In experimental the version is 2.33-1. If you want to update
to that version add the experimental repos to your sources.list
refresh synaptic, update transmission, disable experimental with # in front of the line or delete it and refresh synaptic again.
