<Solved> I can't figure out how to enable USB devices in a VB VM

Post by LamphunLumyai »

System:
Kernel: 5.4.0-73-generic x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: Cinnamon 4.8.6
Distro: Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa

VirtualBox Graphical User Interface Version 6.1.26_Ubuntu r145957
© 2004-2021 Oracle Corporation (Qt5.12.8)

VNC 6.1.26R145957
Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack 6.1.26R145957

Guest OS - Windows 10 20H2

I've reached the end of attempting to enable a USB device on my computer to pass-through to a VM USB. I need to attach USB devices that can be seen in the VM. The VM can see my USB mouse and keyboard. Why not other devices? I'm stumped.

is the usb 2.0 Enabled in the System Host :?:
- the default is actually usb 1.0 .. if it's actually enabled, that is.
you can also set it to usb 3.0, as well, in the System Host . . Guest settings . .
