Getting Spice viewier (Remove Viewer) to save connections?

When I open up Remote Viewer, it has a Recent Connections section but when I manually put in a remote connection (spice://localhost:5900), it never seems to save it for subsequent connections and I can't seem to figure out why. I sort of worked around it by making a shortcut but it's a less than ideal workaround and I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue that might have thoughts on how to remedy it? When I run it via the terminal, I don't get any real handy debugging output to know why the connection isn't being saved so I'm a bit at a loss.
