Anyone here running 18.2 Cinnamon Beta Host with Win 10 guest in VB?

Post by felemur »

I have Windows 10 guest running flawlessly in VB in 18.1 Cinnamon as host, and though I would like to upgrade to 18.2 when it comes out, I would really like to know if anyone has had issues with 18.2 with Win 10 in VB.

in theory - - the upgrade shouldn't affect any software that is already installed.

but, just in case you should export any VBs in use - as a backup.
and uninstall any software that didn't come with the base LinuxMint install

then do the upgrade - - and then re-install the extra software back again

or, you could just take a punt - - and go for it.
- in your case - that option did work A.ok
