after installing ARM & the apk file on virtual device, the application does not boot up and pop up a message the ABC app has stopped.
tested a few apps, same outcome.
Checked:
1. SVM visualization enable
2. Allocate more memory to the virtual device
3. Device is android 7.1. Should work for the app.
Since this is the No.1 emulator for Linux, Genymotion should run on my 18.1 AM4.....

Do you have a reason for thinking this is a Linux issue? All it's doing is hosting VirtualBox, which in turn is hosting your emulator. If you're having problems, submit a support request to Genymotion. This assumes, of course, you have a license. If not, well ...
