[SOLVED] VB 5.2.4 Mouse integration on by default, how to disable?

Post by BG405 »

I've been looking for a setting to disable the default automatic mouse integration in VB Version 5.2.4 r119785 (Qt5.6.1).

Host system:

Doesn't seem to matter if the guest (Linux) OS is 32 or 64 bit.

Hope someone here knows how to set this? I only really use VB to check something in one of the other distros and it's a pain having to change this every time, as things like hot corners don't work properly. Cheers :)

Open from the VB Manager the general preferences (file menu) -> Input (wording may differ, as I re-translated) -> deactivate auto-capturing (near the bottom).

Thanks for the fast response Cosmo., unfortunately it seems I only have the option for "Auto Capture Keyboard", which I do want, but not for the mouse integration. I'll keep looking in to this; just had to fix a different issue. Maybe some options aren't showing because I'm using a version intended for Qt 5.6.1 whereas I'm running Qt 4.8.6 - will find that out in due course.

EDIT:
Found it. ..
