Hi
LM 18.3, and I use a downloaded version of VirtualBox directly from Oracle. Now and again, I get a notice for an update, and have to download/install VB again.
Can this be done with a PPA? Which one? Has anyone tried it?
Thanks

Re: Updating Virtualbox via ppa?
Oracle offers a PPA on the download page. I personally do not use it, because I want full control of the installed version. Currently I prefer the more stable 5.1.x before 5.2.x.
Ad the end it does not male much difference regarding the update process. The download size is the same and you can update for minor versions (x.y.z with only z is changed) easily be installing the new version on top of the existing one.
