I'm trying to install Linux Mint KDE in VirtualBox and whenever I start the machine, it will bring up the boot screen (Boot in 10...9...etc), but then go to a blank screen with a blinking cursor in the stop left and just stay there.
I've made sure the vt-d is enabled in my BIOS. I tried it with xfce Mint as well as Ubuntu with the same results. I've gone through all of the options on the boot screen when I press enter. I've tried disabling PAE/NX, and when I did it says that the kernel requires pae. I've tried turning off and on 3d accelleration.
My CPU is an Intel Core i5-4690K.
If there is any more information I can provide, please let me know. Thank you in advance.
