GPU Passthrough Using Arch Linux Video

Post by johnmor »

Hey everyone,

So, this tutorial seemed promising on setting up GPU Passthrough, albeit via Arch Linux instead of Linux Mint, but I was curious on if it would work.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FI31QDtyy4

I got to the point where the following files were needing to be edited:
/etc/modprobe.d/vfio.conf
/etc/mkinitcpio.conf
These files are not already in place. So, I am curious on some guidance on seeing if these can be installed and configured as directed by the tut.

Thanks all for the help and support!

@xenopeek,

I appreciate the reply.

I saw that, but was unsure if GPU was different than PCI in this case.

I'll check it out further, thanks!
