Hi all,
I've noticed that my Linux VMs including a Mint 19.3 VM fail to boot on update to kernel 5.4.0.62.65 or 5.4.0.66.74. The Mint VM is using 5.4.0.62 and works fine, and I haven't tried every kernel between, and I also have a Ubuntu 20.04 VM that's exhibiting the same issue. I've tried repairing the installation and reinstalling cinnamon from the recovery console but nothing seems to bring back the VM once it's updated. Has anyone else seen this or know what might be the issue?
The issue is reproducible as I restored from a backup and updated to show the error, whereas suppressing the kernel update doesn't reproduce the error.
Regards
Ian
