Virtual box error [SOLVED]

Post by alexeyd1000 »

Once I was trying to set up a virtual box on my Linux mint 20 computer but when I tried to start it an error came up I did research about this error and apparently I need to disable secure boot. I saw many people had the same problem but they had Linux installed as default while I have mine as a dual boot. They went into the BIOS settings but does this also work for dual boot? Error code: rc=-1908. I am a brand new user so I am not that used to mint.

That's a file on your hard drive, we are not able to see it.

Have you turned off secure boot and does that fix it?

Well I feel dumb now
I guess I just did not think that with a dual boot entering the UEFI or BIOS settings would work for both Windows or Mint
I also do not feel comfortable in the BIOS settings.
(The problem was fixed) :D
Thanks btw
