[SOLVED] virtualbox COM error, after timeshift

hello everyone after a problem I have restored the pc with timeshift, now it gives me the error in the attached image, can someone help me? i have already tried to reinstall virtualbox

Was it simply the case that you had a newer version of VirtualBox installed before the Timeshift than now due to you now not yet having updated to that same version again? If so, doing so would supposedly work. If not, does it not work to simply say e.g.

mv ~/.config/VirtualBox{,.orig}

to move the old configuration out of the way and start new? This undoubtedly implies needing to import your VMs again but that's not a big deal AFAIK.

hi, thanks, it was actually a version conflict problem, it wasn't completely removed from the store, then I uninstalled it from the terminal with "purge", using linux for a couple of months, took some time to get there, then I installed the latest version from the official site, the machines I managed to re-import them, moving before and after the folders
