I've never had issues with auto mounting usb devices (phone, HD, MP3 player) with any version of 'buntu or Mint but they will not auto mount in LMDE. Being new to Debian but assuming it is the file manager that does it, what am I missing here?
Thanks

Re: Auto Mounting USB devices
Am I the only one with this issue? I have searched for an answer in the linux mint forums and none of the "solutions" work. Everything is installed and the printer was recognized through USB two days ago but nothing works via USB now. Any help of suggestions would be appreciated.
Re: Auto Mounting USB devices
Wild guess here- did you do an upgrade that requires a reboot? I know something came down the pike that broke my ISO burning, would only work for root, not user. A reboot fixed it up. I don't think I got a notice to reboot after that particular upgrade.
Re: Auto Mounting USB devices
It appears that an update broke, then fixed the problem...all good now
