Level 3 updates fail

I try to update my new install which has over 400 of updates, but I got this error after I download all patches :

WARNING: terminal is not fully functional
/tmp/tmpzqObY2 (press RETURN)

I press Return but nothing happen, then I try to reload the update little at a time, and I can install level 1 and 2 patches, but all level 3 failed to install, what is happening here ??

The HOME and MAIL environment variables are now reset based on the
target user's password database entry when the env_reset sudoers option
is enabled (which is the case in the default configuration). Users
wishing to preserve the original values should use a sudoers entry like:
Defaults env_keep += HOME
to preserve the old value of HOME and
Defaults env_keep += MAIL
to preserve the old value of MAIL.

The change in handling of HOME is known to affect programs like pbuilder.

Now I've to download again to see what comes after hitting Q, wonder why the download not saved
