Hi everybody
I'm with LMDebianEdition from 1 month, I like it very much but i have some question. Why my battery not have long life even if I set cpufreq at powersave?
I have Acer with Intel Core i3 330M, Ati HD5470, 3GB DDR3, LMDE 64Bit. I should have 2hours and 15minutes but nothing...finish fast....

Re: energy battery ACER
When you open the battery-monitor, how does the capacity look? Depending on how long you've been using the laptop, the battery may have deteriorated a bit - it took the original battery in my laptop just about one year to go from 100% capacity to 40-something %.
It could also matter what resolution you're using, if you're running Compiz, watching DVDs, playing CDs, peripherals, using wireless connection, etc.

Which drivers you're using for ATI card? I've got Acer Timeline with Intel/Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics and before I figured out how to configure VGA Switcheroo i had to install Ati Catalyst drivers, before that internal fan was going crazy and my battery time was down from 6.5 hours to around 3 hours.LMDEant wrote:I have Acer with Intel Core i3 330M, Ati HD5470, 3GB DDR3, LMDE 64Bit.
