graphics problem

Post by ecrivain5 » Thu Dec 06, 2018 7:21 am

I have a samsung 17" laptop NP350e7c with intel i3cpu,
It was originally win 8 .
I installed linux mint 19 and all works well except the graphics via TV
I connected my tv via hdmi and it shows both monitors.
However when in 'set as primary mode' 1600-900 16/9 the tv will only show the desktop image and not anything else :?:
If I then go to mirror image then the ratio drops to 1200x800 and I get the image on the tv all correct.
However my laptop screen then reduces in size.
Can anyone help please.
Thanks.
Brian :?:
