I will admit you do lose a bit of the 'eye candy' without KDE but I think it may be worth it

I installed LMDE2 on my second drive on my laptop a few days ago. I think I may switch from 17.3 KDE to LMDE2 Mate. Talk about fast and flawless I will admit you do lose a bit of the 'eye candy' without KDE but I think it may be worth it
