I have attempted to install LMDE-2 from the live CD. However, the display comes up in 800 x 600 resolution, so I cannot see the full page when making selections. Thus, I cannot proceed with the install.
My video board is an ASUS GeForce GTX 750Ti.
When I installed Mint 17, I also had a problem with the install not recognizing the video board, but I was able to get thru the install and fix it later with a driver change. I can't seem to find a way to fix the problem with the live CD.
Suggestions anyone?
Thanks,
Lewis

Did you try to boot with the
nomodeset
kernel parameter option ? See Cinnamon's release notes > Solving freezes on how to proceed (also applicable to LMDE2).-

Hold down the Alt key and click-and-drag the window. Awkward but doable. Once installed, then install nvidia-detect and run it, it'll tell you which driver package to install. LMDE2 has no GUI driver manager.
