LMDE2 apt-get upgrade today 06JUL2017 + off + on = boot freeze

Post by flaviowolff »

Amigos.
Fiz a última atualização "apt-get update + apt-get upgrade" hoje pela manhã. Desliguei o notebook. Liguei o notebook. Na metade do Boot congelou. Tentei novamente, congelou.
Somente abriu com a terceira ou quarta opção, recovery.
Peço que o LMDE 2 revise esta última atualização.
Não sei se posso desligar meu computador. Parece uma loteria.
Não parece um sistema estável.
Podem ajudar?
Abraços.

Friends.
I made the last update "apt-get update + apt-get upgrade" this morning. I turned off the notebook. I turned on the notebook. In the middle of the Boot he froze. I tried again, froze.
Only opened with the third or fourth option, recovery.
I ask that LMDE 2 review this latest update.
I do not know if I can turn off my computer. It looks like a lottery.
It does not look like a stable system.
Can you help?
Hugs. :?

I don't know if it will help, but let's try to fully upgrade your system. Perhaps a package is caught in limbo and is causing some problems. Run the following in your terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Also, can you post your system info please? Copy and paste the output back here on the forums.

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxzr
Cheers!

Caro Fred

Dear Fred

The system went back to normal yesterday. It's working fine.

But I'm going to do the dist-upgrade as you said.

I will first do my chores today and then I will do the dist-upgrade.

I appreciate the attention, the help.

Caro Fred

Efetuei o que sugeriste

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

A resposta foi nula:

Fiquei aliviado. Aparentemente continua tudo bem.
Daqui a pouco vou desligar tudo e ligar novamente, apenas para ficar tranquilo.

Amizade.
Abraço.

Dear Fred

I did what you suggested.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

The answer was null:

I was relieved. Apparently everything is still fine.
I'll turn everything off and on again, just to be quiet.

Friendship.

That is all. :D
