Multiple Keyboard Layouts
Hi all, I'm running the latest version of LMDE 2, and I am wondering if it's possible to have more than 4 keyboard layouts? It seems that 4 is the max, and after that point the Add button is greyed out. Before I installed LMD2, I used to have LM 17 and I used iBus on there, which allowed me as many layouts as I wanted, including IMEs for Japanese, etc. I tried running iBus on LMDE 2 alongside the native (?) keyboard layouts, but it didn't work so well. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance.

I m astonished. Also in LM 17.x (Cinnamon desktop) 4 is the limit.dEhiN wrote:I used to have LM 17 and I used iBus on there, which allowed me as many layouts as I wanted

Well perhaps it wasn't "as many as I wanted", but I'm pretty sure I had more than 4. I also don't recall seeing the Add button greyed out so I assumed it would allow me as many as I wanted.Cosmo. wrote:I m astonished.
