I am using Rsync to transfer files.
I have an error for files with big size name: "File name too long".
I wanna know if I could transfer these files and conserve their name.
Thank you

Re: Rsync size of filename
Please give an example of a file name which is too long.
Are you copying from ext4 to ext4? or ext4 to NTFS?

Re: Rsync size of filename
Hi,
I copy from ext4 to ext4.
My string is about the same length of your example : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/592303
My version of Rsync : version 3.1.0 protocol version 31.
