11 of January I installed updates from last week (including kernel update), and after that, when I try to restore from hibernation, I get black screen and cannot do anything in that state.
Cinnamon 18.3
I use moderate update settings.

Downgrade your kernel and see if that solves the hibernation issue.

Same for suspend - doesn't work.
I tried to boot with previous kerel in Grub - 4.10.0-42. This is working fine.
So should we just wait for the kernel update and hope it will fix the issue?
How can I downgrade so the previous kernel version would be the default in Grub? While I would like to update to the latest one when update will be available,
