[Solved] How safe is it to upgrade D-Bus?
I'm asking this question because long ago, when the Update Manager used a different level system, D-Bus was included together with the kernel updates, if I remember correctly. However, now it is a level 3 update, unlike the kernel which is level 4. Therefore, I'd like to know if it is really a good idea to update this package or not and what kind of tests should I run to make sure everything works fine.

I've never encountered a problem with dbus even though it is quite complicated - several instances of it are processing constantly as you can see with
There's no need to test it since it invokes your desktop session so if your session starts that would indicate that everything is A-OK.
pgrep -a dbus
