Hey Guys!

I am using DSL Cable Connection and need help to create a Hotspot from my laptop.

To find my laptops compatibility with AP, I've used iw list in terminal and shows this :

Code: Select all

Wiphy phy0

                 * min MPDU start spacing
        Device supports TX status socket option.
        Device supports HT-IBSS.

To find the hardware, used lspci -nnk | grep -A2 0280 and shows this :

Code: Select all

04:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter [168c:0032] (rev 01)
        Subsystem: AzureWave Device [1a3b:2126]
        Kernel driver in use: ath9k
Still not able to create a hotspot using network settings. When I create AP, devices don't detect the hotspot. Maybe the hotspot is not running on the first place.

Help!!!!
