Hi
I have two machines with identical configuration, both have LMDE2 Cinnamon.
I would like to be able to login and work graphically from any one machine into the other or both, simultaneously.
I do Not mean Remote Desktop (Remmina, XDMCP etc) or VNC (x11vnc etc) but an actual Remote Secure Login in a Multi-user environment.
Possibly mdm over ssh.
For example, one user could be in front of the machine and using it (display:0), while the other user can login from the other machine (via ssh) and use it graphically (display:1). Both users will be running different graphical applications on the same machine simultaneously.
I can do this Windows-to-Linux using Putty, but don't know how to do its mint-to-mint (I suppose mdm over ssh).
Thanks for your advice

Reason: Moved from "Main Edition" => "Networking" to "LMDE 2" => "Networking", because you write that you use "LMDE 2"

Re: Multi-user Remote Login to Desktop
I'm sorry I can't give you exact instructions as I'm new to Linux Mint.
What you should google for is the nx or freenx technology invented by NoMachine
Here might be a somewhat dated starting point: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FreeNX
