Setting up NFS share autofs

Post by Guid00B »

Hello,
I am using this article and this one as guideline to setting up an auto mount of /volume1/music from my Synology DiskStation.

On my DiskStation I used the Synology howto to set up the NFS server on the DiskStation

On my desktop running LMDE2 :
I installed autofs. ok.
Created the mount point /mnt/DiskStaion. ok.
Edited the /etc/auto.master. ok. It is pointing to auto.nfs for the address of the nfs server
Created a /etc/auto.nfs
Restarted autofs service.

But I don't get what I expect : nothing seems to be mounted...

I tried sudoing

Code: Select all

mount 192.168.0.***:/volume1/music /mnt/DiskStation
but I get an 'access denied by server' error.

At that point I don't know where to look. Any suggestion ?
